Dr. Hazelwood graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in April 1997. She is formerly from Southeast Missouri and moved to the St. Charles area to complete her Doctorate Degree. She attended Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and received an Associate Arts degree in General Academics. She continued her undergraduate education at Southeast Missouri State University and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree, in Human Biology, at Logan College. Dr. Hazelwood spent her last 18 months of college in a residency program at a local St. Charles clinic. After graduation, she worked as an associate in the Creve Coeur area for 2 years. She then began her own freelance company offering vacation and sick relief for local Chiropractors in the surrounding St. Louis areas. Her adjusting skills are well rounded with extended education in techniques, such as; Cox-flexion-distraction, SOT- Sacral-Occipital Technique, Nimmo-Trigger Point Therapy and Rehabilitation. In 1997, she also received her Diplomat in the theoretical and practical phases of Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique, also known as BEST. In January of 2000, she opened her own wellness clinic and more recently joined forces with Dr. Carl Makarewicz in May of 2007. Dr. Hazelwood is writing her first book entitled, "Healthy Solutions" and plans to have it published in the near future.
